Gas, water line breaks reported Friday morning
UPDATE 10:50AM: The gas line break at Third and Curry has been cleared, according to Carson City Dispatch. The line has been fixed and fire crews have left the scene.

Carson City Fire Department was called to the scene of a natural gas line severed by construction crews at Third and Curry streets in downtown Carson City just after 9 a.m., according to emergency dispatch.
A Southwest Gas repair crew is responding to the leak.
People should avoid the area until the all-clear is given.
More details will be provided as information becomes available.
In addition, Carson City Public Works has reported a water main break in the Timberline area of northwest Carson City, according to the city's Code Red alert system.
The break was reported at 9:05 a.m. and repair crews have responded to the area.
Water service in the Timberline area will be intermittent until the repair is completed.
Residents are asked to conserve water indoors, and curtail all outside watering.
The repairs are expected to take 6-8 hours with water service restoration estimated by about 3 p.m.
