- ‘Spring has Sprung’ Art Show at the Nevada Artists Association Gallery in the Brewery Arts Center (10am-4pm)
- ’Pets of the Homeless’ Food Drive at Evergreen Gene’s: 1811 N. Carson (10am-5pm)
- “Stack the Stands” WNC Wildcats Baseball vs. College of Eastern Utah at Harvey Field at Western Nevada College (12pm AND 2pm; Adults $6, Seniors and youth under 18 $3)
National Arbor Day is the last Friday in April, but Carson City is celebrating tomorrow with a fun run/walk and tree planting at Long Ridge Park. For 21 years Carson City has been designated as a Tree City, USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation. Twenty-five years ago today NASA successfully launched the space shuttle Discovery from Cape Canaveral in Florida and the Hubble Space Telescope was on its way.
