Carson City author, podcaster wins 2024 international Women in Podcasting Award
Two Moore Books, a writing, publishing, and podcasting company based in Carson City, is happy and honored to announce that co-founder and co-owner Cassidy Carson is the recipient of the 2024 Women in Podcasting Award in the “Authors and Books” category.
Partnered with husband and fellow author JT Hume, Cassidy Carson podcasts the “CC and JT Amateur Hour” from their home in Carson City. As self-published writers, their podcast mission is to “help writers write.” In nearly 200 episodes since its inception, the Amateur Hour covers all aspects of independent writing and publishing, from simple tasks like grammar and formatting to complex tasks like marketing and meeting with fans.
“We began our little show during the pandemic,” Cassidy Carson said, “and we are excited to receive this validation. We thank Jennifer Henczel, Founder of Women’s Podcaster’s Network, and we thank the sponsor of the “Best Authors and Books Podcast” category, Alex Sanfilippo from Podmatch. We especially thank our loyal and passionate listeners. We’re happy to do the podcast, and we’re happy to keep doing it!”
The Women in Podcasting Network is a collaborative movement where members inspire and encourage each other. It’s the largest collective of women podcasters in the world.
