Carson City sheriff’s arrest log: Two jailed on felony warrants

Two were booked Monday into Carson City Jail on separate felony warrants, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

Lancer James Wagar, 45, of Fallon was booked Monday, 10:45 a.m. into Carson City jail on a fugitive extradition warrant issued out of the 12th Judicial District Court in Oklahoma.

In the second felony booking, a 58-year-old Carson City man, Armando Garcia Franco, was arrested Monday, 4:33 p.m. in the 3100 block of Imperial Way on a felony possession of a controlled substance warrant, issued March 31 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $2,500.

In other arrests:
A 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday, 1:30 a.m. in the area of Silver Sage and Sonoma on suspicion of being an intoxicated pedestrian. According to the arrest report, a deputy was called to the area in reference to a man who broke items in a home and left on foot.

The deputy found the man walking and having trouble keeping his balance. The officer made contact with the man and because he was unsteady on his feet, asked him to sit on the curb, the arrest report states. The officer noticed that a cut on his right arm was bleeding profusely. The officer asked what happened to his arm. The man said nothing was wrong with it but then noticed his arm and told the deputy he had hit a fence because he was mad, the report states.

Due to the amount of blood coming from his arm, Carson City Fire Department was called to the location. When the officer asked the man other questions he became uncooperative and began using profanities and ignored questions. When asked if he had been driving, he said that he had not. He then said he had one beer and agreed to provide a preliminary breath test, in which a partial blow registered a .135, the arrest report states. The officer asked the man where he lived. He said he didn’t know.

At the house where he was at previously, it was learned he broke multiple items inside and also punched through the front window that caused the laceration to his right arm. The occupant did not want to press charges for destruction of property. She said she called 911 because he was terrifying her two children. Bail: $87.
