Carson City Fire Chief: Early morning fire on Woodside destroys carport, vehicles
A fire early Wednesday morning destroyed a car port and at least three vehicles at 3190 Woodside Drive, according to Carson City Fire Chief Bob Schreihans.
At 2:24 a.m. dispatch received word of the blaze that had erupted into a fully-involved fire by the time firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation, said Schreihans.
Nearby resident Colleen Butler reported she heard an explosion and then saw the fire.
Schreihans said there was some smoke damage to the four-plex. Windows of the apartment were also blown out.
