'Explore Earth' traveling exhibit now open at Carson City Library

The Sierra Lutheran Cross Country Team traveled to Folsom, California for the Bella Vista Bronco Invitational on Saturday, Oc. 14. The weather was clear and cool with a touch of humidity. The course of 3.1 miles winds across a grass field, semi-hard packed dirt trails and gravel roads through Willow Hills Cross Country Course at the Willow Hills Reservoir.

It’s easy to get excited about Halloween as it approaches. October is filled with pumpkin stuff, haunted houses, and plenty of parties. Carson High School junior Ethan Byassee placed first in Race for the Cure held Sunday at City Plaza in downtown Reno. The 17-year-old finished with a time of 17:23. Ethan is a member of the CHS Varsity Cross Country team and Track and Field teams.
