4-H 2017 Annual Fabric and Rummage Sale Fast Approaching

February 6, 2017 - 10:00am Carson City –– Area 4-H members are on the lookout for donations of fabric/sewing notions and clean, useable household items. Sewing notions, crafting items, sewing machines, etc. are all welcome donations. Donation Days drop off location this year will be at the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension Office, 2621 Northgate Lane, Suite 15, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21 and 28. Please note the location change from previous years. If you have large items to donate, please call 887-2252 in advance. Donations will also be taken at Fuji Park, directly across from Costco on Old Clear Creek Road, on Friday, on February 3 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
In it’s 15th year, the annual Carson City / Storey County 4-H Fabric and Rummage Sale will be held Saturday and Sunday, February 4 and 5, 2017 at Fuji Park Exhibition Hall in Carson City. The sale is a project of the Carson City/Storey County 4-H Council. All sale proceeds benefit the Council’s scholarship fund.
Sale hours on Saturday, February 4, will run from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 5 and close at 1:00 p.m. Most fabrics are priced to sell at only one dollar per yard. For further information, call the Carson City/Storey County Office of the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension at 887-2252.
