Add onion, mustard and relish but hold the snow and ice please
Wind, snow and icy roads likely blew in this iconic Oscar Mayer Wienermobile to a Carson City hotel for safety reasons Tuesday as it was spotted in a parking lot near I-580 taking a break from the stormy weather.
Carson Now reader Wendy Peters saw the famed hotdog mobile parked on the side of the Holiday Inn Express on North Carson Street at around 1:30 p.m.
"With all the snow we received, it stuck out like a sore thumb and I had to take a picture," said Peters.
The recognizable vehicle spotted in Carson City is among a fleet of motor vehicles shaped like a hot dog on a bun, called "Wienermobile" and are used to promote and advertise Oscar Mayer products in the United States.
