BOS Meets December 1 on Vintage development

The Vintage at Kings Canyon is being heard before the Board of Supervisors on Thursday, December 1st. As of this writing there is no agenda posted and no staff-generated materials to read and analyze. However, we have been told that the deadline for submitting letters and emails to be included in the Supervisors’ packets, for them to read, is November 21st. Please write to show your opposition to this change to the master plan and zoning, to the many changes to the project that are not being given to the public for timely review, and for the burden this upscale senior-only development will have on our city.

This meeting is the ONLY time when the official decision will be made by the actual elected representatives of the people. The previous meeting and vote of the Planning Commission on Sept. 29 was a recommendation only, based on the staff report. THIS is the meeting where the PUBLIC has to show up to see if the elected officials do in fact represent them.
