April is Financial Literacy Month and Greater Nevada Credit Union (GNCU) is offering information and resources for people of all ages and generations to tackle their goals and manage their finances. Being financially literate involves skills such as budgeting, investing, borrowing and personal financial management.

Melissa is the Executive Director of Nevada Right To Life and a graduate of Reno High School and holds a BS in Marketing and a MA in Political Science from the University of Nevada. She represents Nevada on the Board of Directors of the National Right to Life Committee. Nevada Right to Life is a grassroots network of Nevadans who advocate for life issues with their elected state and federal representatives and advance appropriate legislation that helps protect the right to life of all innocent human beings and oppose anti-life legislation.

The annual Carson City Aquatic Center’s Underwater Egg Hunt took place Saturday with great attendance.

The fun began at 2 p.m. with each group of pre-registered egg hunters given a 15 minute hunt session in both the big pool and the splash pool.
