Jack Prescott has joined Plumas Bank as senior vice president, commercial lending manager
Plumas Bancorp, the parent company of Plumas Bank, recently announced that Jack Prescott has joined Plumas Bank as senior vice president, commercial lending manager. Prescott brings over 35 years of commercial banking experience to his new position and is responsible for managing lending objectives, targets, strategies, and practices to achieve organizational financial growth. He will also direct a team of experienced commercial lenders throughout the bank’s service area.
Executive Vice President, Chief Banking Officer, BJ North, commented, “Jack brings a rich and diverse experience to the commercial lending group and will lead our team as we continue to focus on our strategic vision for growth and success of the Bank. Prescott graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Agricultural Economics. He also graduated with distinction from the American Bankers Association (ABA) Commercial Lending Graduate School of Banking. Prescott has lived in Reno, Nevada for over four decades and is very active in his community. He currently serves on the New West CDFI board of directors whose primary mission is affordable housing. Over the years he has served as an executive board member of the Reno/Sparks Chamber of Commerce, EDAWN, Education Collaborative, Partners in Education, and Pathways to Aviation. Prescott has also been involved in the following business organizations: The Prospectors Club, YTBD Club, Vistage and Rotary International. Prescott enjoys gardening, hiking, fishing, playing golf and pickleball.
