Monday's Democratic luncheon will be another pre-election "double header," featuring two candidates for Carson City school board. Mike Walker, who's running for a third term in District 5, will speak from Noon to 1:00. John Henley, who is running for the open District 7 seat, will follow after lunch, from 1:30 to 2:30.
