Nevada, like many areas across the nation, is experiencing an uptick in COVID-19 cases. The increase in cases is not comparable to the surges seen in January, which had new daily case averages of more than 6,000 statewide.

But cases have increased from the new daily case average of 140 in the first week of April to more than 800 in the first week of June, according to data from Nevada Health Response.

Carson City, Nevada - It is with heavy hearts, we announce that Gregory Hatch, 58, our beloved husband, father, and friend passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 with his wife by his side, at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, CA, after a long battle with illness. Greg was born on October 23, 1963, in Boulder, Colorado.

CARSON CITY, Nev. — To celebrate Juneteenth, the oldest known tradition celebrating the end of slavery in the United States, the Nevada State Museum will offer free admission from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, 2022.
