CASA INFORMATION HOUR--learn about becoming a CASA Advocate
ATTEND A CASA INFORMATION HOUR ON ANY OF THESE DATES:
APRIL 6, APRIL 21, MAY 5, 5:30-6:30pm
at the Juvenile Court Building, 1545 E. 5th St.
Can you tell a friend?
The community can make a difference
for abused and neglected children.
Children taken into state care due to concern for their safety should have a volunteer guardian ad litem, a trained community member provided by CASA, to speak up for their best interest in the child welfare court process. Carson City children need advocates!
Being a CASA advocate requires caring, patience, research, communication, determination and time. There is training, an interview and background checks. Ask questions! Learn more!
CASA of Carson City does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, or status as a veteran. To learn more, contact CASA of Carson City by email—casaofcc@earthlink.net or phone—882-6776.
