The Carson City School District is asking local community members to attend the quarterly Community PLC (Professional Learning Community) meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 15, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. inside the Carson High School Library.
Nevada to pay $340K to incarcerated firefighters who were injured, delayed medical care

Nevada officials have agreed to pay $340,000 to eight current and formerly incarcerated people who alleged that the state mistreated them and delayed medical treatment while working for a state prisoner firefighting program.
