Works helps Nevada relay to third place finish
Carson High graduate Christy Works helped the University of Nevada women's track team's distance medley relay to a third place finish on Friday at the Western Athletic Conference Championships in Nampa, Idaho.
Works ran on Nevada's distance medley relay team that finished in a time of 12 minutes, 27.04 seconds. The Wolf Pack distanca medley relay team scored six points for Nevada.
After two days of competition, Nevada is in fifth with 19 points behind Idaho (44), Utah State (34), Louisiana Tech (30) and New Mexico State (30). The meet will conclude on Saturday.
