Carson City's Taste of Downtown Winners Announced
The 17th Annual Taste of Downtown winners are:
Best Overall: the coveted prize goes to B'Sghetti's: "They did a wonderful job, the presentation always counts with them," said Lisa Lee, executive director of the Advocates to End Domestic Violence, which sponsors the popular Carson City event as its primary fundraiser. B'Sghetti's presentation included a fresh orchid on every plate and servings from sea shells.
Best Atmosphere: Comma Coffee. "By a landside," Lee said.
Best Taste: Paul Schat's Bakery at the Carson Mall. "They did a beautiful spread. Everybody was in awe with the cream puffs, sandwiches and soups."
Best Discovery: Bella Fiore Wines.
Best Band: JamB.
Best Shop: Due Sisters/Two Sisters: Home, Garden and Design.
Alie's Flowers and Gifts was a close second.
