Brewery Arts Center’s Flatbed Carson City Concert Series begins Saturday
The Brewery Arts Center has teamed up with The Change Companies and Miles Construction to provide live music directly to the citizens of Carson City during this time of sheltering in place.
Miles Construction Company has generously donated the use of a Flatbed Truck and with financial support from The Change Companies, the BAC will place musicians and bands on the flatbed and drive them through the streets and neighborhoods of Carson City throughout June and July.
This Saturday, the BAC is proud to present Grace Hayes. Grace is a multifaceted performance artist from Reno, Nevada. Hayes is a comedic songwriter, producer, poet, musician, model, actress, American Idol alumni, TEDx speaker, and internationally viral content creator.
Our Carson City audience will remember Grace when she stole the show opening for Guitar Shorty at Levitt AMP Carson City 2017.
The flatbed stage will be leisurely driving throughout the west side of Carson City from 6 to 9 p.m. this Saturday, June 13 so keep up with their location on the BAC Facebook page or Instagram and come out and enjoy Grace’s beautiful voice from your own front yard or social distance yourself at a public space to enjoy.
Follow the route by clicking here. Major stops will be Sunset Park (approx 6:15 pm; Carriage Square (approx. 7 pm; and will end at McFadden Plaza (approx 8:30 pm).
The neighborhoods and artists will change each week. For more information on all of these opportunities, contact the Brewery Arts Center at gina@breweryarts.org
