A 30-year-old man, Randall Jonathan Saucedo, was also arrested at the location on a felony warrant out of state parole and probation. Both men are being held without bail pending hearings, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

The man allegedly threw a fork at his girlfriend during an argument, puncturing her in the chin. Responding officers could clearly see a wound on the woman’s chin with four distinct markings consistent with prongs from a fork. The intoxicated man at first denied the incident, saying the couple were arguing because he would not have sex with her. Then he said the woman had the injury for about 24 hours and could make it bleed when she wants to. Finally he said he could have thrown the fork at the woman but did not remember. Bail: $3,137.

— A 25-year-old Reno woman was arrested Saturday, 7:44 p.m. at the intersection of Fairview and Butti on suspicion of child endangerment, DUI second with a controlled substance, driving on a suspended license and violation of Alternative Sentencing, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

According to the arrest report, a reporting witness told dispatch about a tan Chevy Monte Carlo with the driver possibly under the influence of methamphetamine.
Sgt. Scott McDaniel located the vehicle on Fairview south of Butti and deputies arrived to make a traffic stop. The woman was speaking very fast and unable to stop moving, common signs of a person under the influence of methamphetamine. Also in the vehicle were the woman’s two daughters, ages 3 an 5.

Officers asked the woman to exit the vehicle and advised they would be conducting a standardized field sobriety test to determine if she was driving under the influence. She completed all field sobriety tests with unsatisfactory results. Based on the performance of the tests, officers determined her to be under the influence and placed her in custody. She admitted to using meth within the past 12 hours, the arrest report states.
Dispatch confirmed the woman had a suspended license. A criminal history showed she had a previous DUI conviction that she pled guilty to in 2012. Bail: $8,911.
