All Carson City School District schools will observe a delayed 2-hour schedule Monday, March 4, 2024. Buses will also operate on a 2-hour delay, so arrival times will be approximately 2-hours later than usual. There will be no Pre-School classes or breakfast served at school.

The Carson City School District is asking parents to mark their calendars for Monday, March 4, 2024, when all Pre-K, Kindergarten, new and returning student updates and registrations will begin. Meals on Wheels Carson City, operated by the Carson City Senior Center, is launching a month-long March for Meals fundraising campaign for Meal on Wheels. The timing of the March campaign is symbolic as it commemorates the historic day in March of 1972 when President Nixon signed into law a measure that amended the Older Americans Act of 1965 to include a national nutrition program for seniors 60 years and older.
