Stewart Father’s Day Powwow celebrates American Indian culture June 17-19 in Carson City

Hosted in partnership with the Nevada Indian Commission and the Stewart Indian School Alumni, the annual powwow includes quality Native American fun and is also a time for alumni, former employees, families and friends to gather at the former campus.

Thompson, owner of Eagle Mountain Trading Post at 110 S. Curry Street in Carson City, said she couldn't be happier running her business out of the historic structure that once served as a freight depot, livery and Overland Stage stop back in the early days of the Nevada state capital.

Earth Spirit Faire at Community Center this weekend

The faire runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Community Center located at 851 E. William Street.

The Easter Bunny will be here Sunday, March 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and again on Saturday March 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be an Easter egg hunt on Saturday March 26 at 2 p.m. starting with ages 1-4 and then ages 5-8.
The first 20 ladies to visit participating stores will receive gift certificates or discount coupons.

Earth Spirit Faire coming April 30th
