The South Carson Complete Streets Project design has been completed, and last week Carson City Public Works and the project contractor, Sierra Nevada Construction, Inc., held a pre-construction meeting to present the anticipated construction schedule and the completed project design.

The Carson City Council of the United States Navy League will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the Carson City NUGGET Casino, 507 N. South Carson Street. UPDATE: Just before 2:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon a man was taken into custody at a casino in the 900 block of South Carson Street. The suspect is linked to a shooting last night at the Carson Colony, said Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong.
