Update on Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure

Wilson of the First Judicial District Court will be our guest speaker at Douglas-Carson Legal Professionals' monthly educational meeting at noon on March 6 at Red's Old 395 Grill, 1055 S Carson St., Carson City. Judge Wilson will discuss upcoming changes to the Nevada Rules of Civil procedure.
There is no cost involved; lunch is optional. Reservations can be made by emailing NALSdclp@gmail.com.
Carson City Historical Society Celebrates 50 Years
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Mon, 02/11/2019 - 6:28pmFollowing a Carson City Historical Society Board meeting on Feb. 11, Board members gathered for a little celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the CCHS.
The Nevada Landmarks Society (NLS) was founded on February 11, 1969, in order to preserve the Roberts House, the yellow Gothic Revival-style house at 1207 North Carson St., now known as the Foreman-Roberts House. The NLS later became the Carson City Historical Society.
Carson High to celebrate CTE Month with Governor Sisolak Thursday

Event seating begins at 8:30 a.m. with the Governor’s address at 8:45 a.m.
Carson City Supervisors to discuss contracts, grants, appointments at Feb. 7 meeting

Under discussion at the February meeting will be purchases and contracts, appointments in the Redevelopment Authority Citizen’s Community, grants for Parks and Recreation, and more.

SOSMGC is open to golfers 55 years of age and older, and all handicap levels. Dues are $75 and includes your membership and handicap posting in the Northern Nevada Golf Association GHIN service.
As a member, you are entitled to reduced green fees anytime you play Silver Oak in 2019. The season tees off on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. There will be coffee and donuts served opening day at 8 a.m. along with a short informational meeting.
