The Stewart Indian School Preservation Alliance to premiere documentary 'Home of the Braves'
The Stewart Indian School Preservation Alliance (SISPA) is proud to announce that tickets are now available to the Premiere Event of “Stewart Indian School: Home of the Braves,” Dec. 17 from 5-8 p.m.
In partnership with the Nevada Indian Commission, SISPA is proud to announce the first screening of the "Stewart Indian School: Home of the Braves," the 60-minute documentary detailing the story of Stewart, produced and directed by JoAnne Peden and co-directed by Sam Santoro.
Join us for the premier screening of the documentary followed by a panel discussion featuring scholars and special guests, and led by Dr. Chris von Nagy, head of the Shared History Program at the University of Nevada, Reno.
The premiere will be held at the Nevada Museum of Art, Donald W. Reynolds Center for the Visual Arts, Wiegand Gallery, 160 West Liberty Street in Reno.
