NHP traffic stop leads to DUI arrest, seizure of 14 pounds of marijuana
Submitted by editor on Tue, 03/20/2018 - 5:52pmA trooper with the Nevada Highway Patrol in the Fallon area conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle March 14 for traveling over the posted speed limit. The trooper observed signs of impairment while speaking with the driver and began an investigation.

Best I can tell, St. Patrick’s Day parties are not deterred by a little snowfall. There will be no parade in Virginia City, but the Rocky Mountain Oyster Fest is on. Head to downtown Carson for more green beer, Irish music, and corned beef and cabbage than you’ll know what to do with.
