Carson City Sheriff's Office seeks public's help in March 13 road rage incident
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two vehicles involved in an unknown type dispute.
On March 13, 2018 at approximately 5:30 p.m., deputies with the Carson City Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 200 block of East Musser Street for a report of a road rage incident with gun shots being fired.
On arrival in the area, deputies located two areas of broken class, and evidence showing that more than one round was discharged during the incident.
Surveillance video in the area show two different vehicles involved in the incident.
The first vehicle is a dark colored 2004 GMC Yukon with Nevada license plate 938VAZ. This vehicle is believed to have been driven by a female named Tiarha Cruz, 20 years old.
At the time of the incident, the vehicle would have a shattered and missing rear cargo window, and a shattered and missing passenger side rear window.
The second vehicle is a black newer model Toyota 4-Runner. This vehicle was driven by an unknown subject wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.
That vehicle also had a second male subject as a passenger.
The Toyota has an unknown type sticker in the bottom rear corner of the back passenger window. There is no other information concerning that vehicle.
At this time the Carson City Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate both vehicles, the occupants of the Toyota, and Ms. Cruz for questioning concerning the incident.
Attached you will find surveillance still photos of the two vehicles, and of the unknown driver and passenger of the Toyota. At this time there are not up to date photos of Tiarha Cruz available.
