Carson City Supervisor, Ward 1 Karen Abowd hosts her monthly Walkabout, Friday, Nov. 17 at Mills Park. The community is invited to attend in order to discuss their ideas for Carson City moving forward.

“The hot topic right now is the golf course, so I presume folks might want to talk about that,” Abowd said. “But I am open to discussing whatever my constituents find important.”

To participate, meet at noon on the steps of Carson City Community Center.

Day of The Dead celebration presented by WNC Latino Cohort and Nevada State Museum

The Nevada State Museum and WNC Latino Cohort presented a Day of The Dead celebration on Saturday in Carson City. Admission was free at the The Nevada State Museum, made possible by support of the Carson City Culture and Tourism Authority, Western Nevada Materials, and the Nevada Mining Association.
