The "sealed" toy drive allows hospitalized children who have to stay in their room, or are unable to play with used toys, a chance to receive a small gift basket of toys and games to play with over the holidays.

The Carl Howell Memorial Music Festival at Battle Born Harley boasts a full day of live music, vendors, activities and family fun. Grocery Outlet donates $2,796 to Ron Wood Family Resource Center

Dave and Lynne Cox have been ongoing supporters of the center and provided Ron Wood's emergency food bank with $1433 in cash donations and $1363 in food donations.

The Carson City Grocery Outlet provided food donations valued at nearly $10,000 in the last fiscal year ending June 30, 2016.
“Without this type of community help, so many people would go to bed hungry.” said Liz Patterson, FISH Food Bank Manager.

Carson City Sheriff’s Office DARE officer Lisa Davis holds the receipt for these items rung up at Grocery Outlet in preparation of Tuesday’s National Night Out from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mills Park. Donors and Grocery Outlet have covered the cost of food and refreshments that will be served up free at the 14th annual family event.
