Carson City Grocery Outlet presents more than $2,000 to local food bank
Grocery Outlet presented Friends in Service Helping, also known as FISH, with a donation of more than $2,000. The Carson City Outlet continues to be an active partner with the Food Bank at FISH.
The Carson City Grocery Outlet provided food donations valued at nearly $10,000 in the last fiscal year ending June 30, 2016.
“Without this type of community help, so many people would go to bed hungry.” said Liz Patterson, FISH Food Bank Manager.
Store owner/manager Dave Cox said the latest donation has been made possible because of the generosity of Grocery Outlet customers who regularly donate.
"Our customers make this possible," said Cox.
