Hat, sunscreen and hiking poles recommended.
Tuesday evening hikes begin at 5:30 pm and will be 4-6 miles in length. If it is raining, snowing and/or conditions of trail is not safe, hikes will be cancelled.

We walk on the sidewalks in the neighborhood near the park. Bring a flashlight. Water and sturdy closed-toed shoes are required.
For the winter, these hikes moved onto paved sidewalks and paths in Carson City and will be 4-6 miles in length. Beginning April 16 hikes move to unpaved trails. If it is raining, snowing and/or condition of trail is not safe, hikes will be cancelled.

Sierra Lutheran alum of Carson City chases another tiger tail in pursuit of doctorate

After the Carson City product received his Bachelors of Science in Psychology, with a Minor in Linguistics last year from Louisiana State University, the LSU Tigers alum, and 2014 Sierra Lutheran High School graduate, is now pursuing study of a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at LSU.
