Thursday hike to Clear Creek Trail, sponsored by Muscle Powered
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Fri, 09/14/2018 - 5:33pmThis week's hike has CHANGED to the new Clear Creek Trail. Since Nevada State Parks is closing some of the trails for forest management, the original trail advertised, Tahoe Rim Trail Spooner Summit-North will closed.
The meeting place has not changed. We will still meet at Highway 50 Park and Ride where we will carpool up to Spooner Summit to park in the south parking lot for the Tahoe Rim Trail.
The Clear Creek Trail begins just east of the bathroom and is accessed via the Forest Service Road just east of the bathroom.

Tahoe South will host a magnitude of events extending the season from Labor Day into October with entertainment, culinary festivals, music, outdoor recreation, competitions and a lakefront laser show.
