This is first time in a decade that State Route 108 over Sonora Pass wan unable to open in time for the Memorial Day weekend.

Nevada’s unemployment falls below 5 percent in February

The jobless rate ticked down one-tenth of a percentage point from January, from 5 percent.

Caltrans: Highway 50 is not opening Sunday after mudslide closed road at Ice House

The highway is one of the only ones moving in both directions due to Highway 50 being closed, and major delays westbound I-80 from the state line to Truckee due to mud slide removal.

The concert series will return again for 2017, according to Gina Lopez Hill, executive director of the Brewery Arts Center, which was responsible for last year's and this year's proposal to bring the concert series to Carson City and getting Carson City residents to vote for the capital city's chances online.

EPA proposes to add Nevada's Anaconda mine site in Lyon County to National Priorities List
