There was another mudslide at Kyburz that crews are also working on. The road is open for those who live on the route with proof of residency.
The other major route taking travelers out of Lake Tahoe, I80, is down to one lane westbound due to mudslide work. Expect major delays from the state line to Truckee according to Caltrans.
The other route, SR88, still has chain controls up near Silver Lake.
Stay tuned for updates.
UPDATE 10:10PM: Caltrans now estimates it will be 6 p.m. Sunday before Highway 50 at Ice House Road reopens. If this changes again we will update this story.

Caltrans says Highway 50 at Ice House Road is expected to be closed until 6 p.m. Sunday, February 12. This is an estimate and will depend on time it will take to clear the massive slide of mud and boulders. Once open, the road will be one-way controlled traffic.
One vehicle was caught in the mudslide Friday at Ice House Road. The occupants, a man, woman and dog from the San Jose area, were unharmed.
Elsewhere, both the westbound and eastbound lanes of I-80 over Donner are now open, according to Caltrans.
