CARSON CITY - District Attorney Jason Woodbury announced Tuesday he will run for re-election this year. Woodbury is finishing his first term after winning office in 2014. “I am profoundly grateful Carson City voters hired me to do this job,” Woodbury said. “We’ve assembled a solid team that serves this community well.”

A 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested Saturday for felony suspicion of domestic battery by strangulation and a misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence warrant, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

A 38-year-old Carson City woman faces felony drug and weapon charges following a traffic stop Monday for suspended registration, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

The homeowners paid the bill by check and received a receipt. Similar charges against the Costellos and International Seal Coating and Paving have been filed in two Carson City cases, and law enforcement agencies have warned of their unlicensed activity in Utah in June 2017 and Iowa in July 2017.
