An unemployed Carson City man faces a felony burglary charge after breaking into Blockbuster Video on East Williams Street last week and taking games and two consoles.

Ryne Mitchell Snoddy, 18, also faces a gross misdemeanor property destruction charge. Bail was set at $25,000.

According to the arrest report, officers saw Snoddy climbing out of a broken window in front of the store after responding to an intrusion alarm call at about 1 a.m. on Nov. 24.

Officers saw him carrying a box that contained several video games for X-Box and PlayStation consoles. Officers ordered him to lay on the ground and the man complied, the arrest report stated.

A manager arrived at the store and told authorities two game consoles — an X-Box 360 and a PlayStation 3 — were also missing from the store. The missing items were recovered.

Deputies reviewed surveillance of the store's interior which showed Snoddy taking several of the games, the arrest report concluded.
