NV Energy restores power where Davis Fire evacuations have been lifted
NV Energy has restored power to all customer where evacuation orders have been lifted, the utility said Saturday. The remaining customers who are out of power are advised that power will be restored when it is safe to do so. Teams remain in the field doing some additional work.
Some of the customers who are returning home today, Saturday, are natural gas customers at NV Energy and may need their appliances to be re-lit to restore their service, the utility said in a news release.
NV Energy has stationed gas servicemen in the area who will be going door to door, checking on customers and performing the work as necessary. They will leave door tags for folks who are not yet home. Customers need to be home for NV Energy to do this work.
NV Energy does not provide propane services in this area. Those folks will need to contact their propane provider to arranged restoration of that service.
