Fire officials Saturday announce additional Davis Fire evacuations lifted
Fire officials have announced additional Davis Fire evacuations have been lifted Saturday in Galena Forests and Saint James Village areas.
All are urged to remain vigilant and stay clear of evacuation zones, according to Truckee Meadows Fire in a news release. For updates on evacuation statuses please visit: https://perimetermap.com.
"Crews are working tirelessly to remove hazard trees that may have become unstable during the fire. Stay informed by relying on official information sources," according to the release.
Meanwhile, NV Energy has restored power to all customer where evacuation orders have been lifted, the utility said Saturday. The remaining customers who are out of power are advised that power will be restored when it is safe to do so. Teams remain in the field doing some additional work.
Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and the Washoe County Sheriff's Office are leading the investigation into the cause of the Davis Fire.
