Carson City emergency crews respond to crash into fence and tree at Arrowhead and Emerson
Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called Friday night to a vehicle crash near the intersection of Emerson and Arrowhead where the driver struck a fence and tree.
The single-vehicle crash was reported at 7 p.m. with paramedics responding. According to Carson City Sheriff's Office Sgt. Scott McDaniel, an airbag was deployed after the vehicle struck the fence and tree at the Romo Ranch House residence, which is known for its decorated memorabilia and antiques.
The driver, an adult male in their 60s, was taken to the hospital via ground ambulance. The cause of the crash is under investigation for suspected DUI.
