— Muscle Powered Sunday morning bike ride. 9 a.m. Meet at Fremont Elementary School, 1511 Firebox Rd, Carson City, NV 89701, in the south parking lot, next to the Linear Ditch Trail. Come join Muscle Powered for a free, guided group walk, hike, or ride around Carson City!
— Annual fall book signing in Carson City featured at the Nevada State Museum. 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. With fall in the air and winter nipping at her heels, curling up with a good book is a great way to spend a few hours – or days – and learn about Nevada in the process. The Nevada State Museum’s annual Autumn Book Signing has everything you’ll need.
— Carson City Raiders Booster Club to host Christmas Commitment Fundraiser for Home Bound Seniors. 1 to 4 p.m. at the Carson Lanes Eleventh Frame Lounge, 4600 Snyder Ave. The Carson City Raiders Booster Club's Christmas Commitment Fundraiser for Home Bound Seniors will be taking place. There will be a silent auction, live auction and raffle to raise funds to adopt deserving seniors in our community and provide them with the joys of Christmas. Our members will be purchasing, wrapping and delivering gifts to the seniors in early December.
— Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company presents: Matilda, The Musical. 2 to 4 p.m. at the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William Street. The Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company is bringing the internationally acclaimed, high-energy, magical “Matilda the Musical” to Nevada for the very first time! Based on the Roald Dahl classic novel, the award-winning musical tells of a gifted young girl who develops telekinetic powers to help her overcome the wicked headmistress, Agatha Trunchbull, and save her abused teacher and classmates. A cast of extraordinary performers rocks an exhilarating score with powerful dance numbers and broad comedy.
— The Polar Express Train Ride. 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the V&T Eastgate Depot, 4650 Eastgate Siding Road. The 2019 Polar Express is inviting a limited number of Carson City area youth groups and organizations in the community to be a part of The Polar Express experience by portraying elves at the North Pole each year. For every night the group provides the required amount of elves, chaperones and works all three trains we will donate $100 to the groups for every night they perform.
— Carson Chamber Singers, Joyful Noise Children's Choir present Carson City concerts. 7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 412 W. Musser Street. Carson Chamber Singers, conducted by William Belcher, and Joyful Noise Carson Children’s Choir, conducted by Michelle Powers, will present Fall Concerts on Saturday, Nov. 16, and Sunday, Nov. 17 in Carson City.
