Annual Tree Care Seminar at Community Center
The 23rd Annual Fall Tree Care Seminar, sponsored by the Carson City Shade Tree Council, will be held Friday, Nov. 14 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Sierra Room at the Community Center. This year's seminar, "Tree Care in the Great Basin," will include topics like “Fruit Tree Pruning for Production,” “Top 5 Things that Went Wrong with My Tree,” and a trip to the Greenhouse Garden Project at Carson High School.
Check-in and continental breakfast will be prior to the seminar from 7:15 a.m. until 8 a.m. Following the seminar's closing remarks stick around for games and prizes.
Same-day registration is $35 for students and the general public; Tree care professionals will earn ISA credit, and the cost is $50. Breakfast and lunch are included.
