Set against Tchaikovsky’s timeless score, The Nutcracker transports audiences to a world of swirling snowflakes, heroic soldiers, and the enchanting Sugarplum Fairy.

Adding to the wonder of this year’s production, Nevada Dance Company is thrilled to welcome an impressive lineup of professional guest artists, whose skill and artistry will bring The Nutcracker to dazzling new heights. This year’s production will feature Isabella Velasquez and Victor Maguad from the esteemed Sacramento Ballet, gracing the stage as the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier.
Professional dancers Erica Chipp-Adams and Oliver Adams will debut a brand-new version of the Arabian duet, a performance bound to stun audiences with its elegance and intensity. Alexander Cain Biber will captivate audiences as Drosselmyer, enchanting viewers with his magical portrayal, while Kelsey Gerber will take the stage as the Chinese Soloist, bringing charm and energy to the role.
This year, Nevada Dance Company also celebrates Carson City resident Gail Ruff, whose dedication and passion for the arts shines brightly as she performs in her 35th consecutive production of The Nutcracker. Gail, a beloved fixture of the company, will play the role of the Grandmother, a part she brings to life with warmth and joy year after year.
