Inaugural Women’s Leadership and Legacy Retreat at Tahoe featured Sept. 19-20
The first Women’s Leadership & Legacy Retreat in Tahoe will be featured Thursday and Friday, Sept. 19-20 at Tahoe Beach Retreat.
Connie Wray, the host of the Docu Series The Next Stage, which can be found on YouTube and on Mornings on Fox 11 every Monday morning has joined our Women’s Leadership & Legacy Retreat’s team for the inaugural event.
Connie is also a radio and TV host, voice-talent, and emcee and loved the stage and the arts. She is dedicated to supporting local women and our professional growth and will be going through her own training this next year.
What are we doing locally to support the growth and development of women?
The Ozmen Business college has formed an advisory council, under the direction of Kelly Northridge, that is focused on supporting women in business. Shari Pheasant, a member of this esteemed group of ladies, has put together a gathering of intelligent, dynamic, and creative women who want to be better leaders in their community, their career, and their lives.
“I have gathered some amazing local women for a first-time event in Lake Tahoe on September 19th & 20th. You will hear inspiring stories, receive specific guidance to activate the greatness you have inside you and learn how to bring your best self to the table.
Leadership is about influence. To influence you need to connect. To connect you need to understand. By attending this event you will understand your leadership skill set immediately!

Every attendee will receive a Leadership assessment that reveals their style and digs even deeper to understand why they do what they do. There will be tangible take-a-ways on how to improve your influence and female leadership style. We will be building the self-confidence and self-worth of all women in attendance.
Our speaker line up is amazing including About Town Deb who will share her story of inspiration and connection. Shari Fitzpatrick, former owner of Shari’s Berries, an online strawberry company. Now she owns Berried in Chocolate and has a story to tell of holding onto your business and name. Jessica Hudson, Ashley Amahdzai, Rachel Flowers and Pamela Zimmer round out the speaker list bringing guidance to everyone who attends.
Shari Pheasant will guide all women present into a new way of thinking about the workforce, their leadership and their ability to transform their lives and career into anything they desire from the inside out. The women at this event will connect and be empowered to greatness after this experience.
