Flash Flood Warning goes up for Carson City, and portions of Douglas and Lyon counties
The National Weather Service in Reno has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Eastern Carson City, West Central Lyon County and Northwestern Douglas County until 2:15 p.m.
At 11:12 a.m. Thursday Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is possible. Some locations that may experience flooding include Johnson Lane, already hit hard this week with flooding, as well as Carson City, Indian Hills, Gardnerville, Minden-Tahoe Airport, and along Highway 395 at the Douglas County, Carson City line and in the Stewart Indian School area.
