Carson Tahoe Health named as Nevada’s ‘Best Employer’
In June, Forbes published an inaugural ranking of “America’s Best Employers” by state, and Carson Tahoe Health took second place for the state of Nevada.
According to Carson Tahoe, the company employs around 2,000 people throughout the state.

It first opened its doors in Carson City in 1949, which employed a grand total of three doctors, three nurses, an x-ray technologist, laboratory technologist, a cook and a janitor.
Now, Carson Tahoe Health has 23 current locations throughout Northern Nevada and California and in 2017, admitted 13,056 patients and provided care for over 300,000 outpatient visits, according to their annual report.
