Carson City arrests: Driver at fault in crash arrested for driving without a license

CARSON CITY — Governor Joe Lombardo announced the appointment of Christopher Sewell as Director of the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation.

At their first meeting of the year Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023, the Carson City School District was pleased to welcome two new recently elected board members Trustee Matt Clapham, District 3, and Trustee Molly Walt, District 6. CARSON CITY — Due to the Nevada Department of Transportation and the Department of Public Safety reporting severe weather and potentially dangerous road conditions, Governor Joe Lombardo has ordered an early closing for all state government offices in Washoe, Carson, Douglas, Lyon and Storey counties Tuesday.

United Federal Credit Union was pleased to donate more than $1,420 to local families and organizations in northwest Nevada as part of the 2022 Pay It Forward initiative. As part of Pay It Forward, United provided $20 to every employee to give to a needy individual, family, or organization of their choice.

All 23 families have officially been barred from entering their apartments at Carson Pines in Carson City after they learned the upper floors of the buildings were being condemned by the city.
