Veteran funnyman and impressionist David Gee to headline Friday Carson Comedy Club
Carson Comedy Club, located inside the Carson Nugget Casino in Carson City, will feature the hilarious antics of veteran funnyman and impressionist David Gee as the headliner this Friday, April 21.
David Gee is a seasoned long-time performer of the comedy stage who has shared a microphone with luminaries from Bob Hope and Rodney Dangerfield to Louis C.K. and Chris Rock.
At the start of his career he was both honored and encouraged when named "Best Comedian in a Production Show" by the Las Vegas Review-Journal for an unprecedented three years in a row.
He then went on to serve as house emcee at the venerable Hollywood Improv, where he was witness to the rise of such notable talents as Ray Romano, Jimmy Fallon, Sarah Silverman and Zach Galifianakis.
Mr. Gee spends a considerable part of each year performing at comedy clubs, casinos and convention centers as well as at golf tournaments and charity events across the country.
Most recently, he was a semi-finalist on ABC's "The Next Best Thing" and was prominently featured on the Showtime special "Rita Rudner and 3 Potential Ex-Husbands" which began airing in the Spring of 2012.
As an accomplished performer, an uncanny impressionist and a master of timing and presence on stage, David Gee is as good as it gets. And someone you won't want to miss.
Guest comedians ahead of Gee will be OC Gillam and Sam Corbin. Doors open at 8 p.m.
Tickets are $15 per person; ages 21 and over.
Tickets can be purchased at the casino cage, or online at www.brownpapertickets.com.
The show is hosted by Daris Smith.
