Carson City Fire Department called to report of structure fire on B Street

UPDATE 1:40PM: The resident was advised she had a burned electrical socket and that she should call an electrician to get it fixed. Firefighters were released from the scene.

Carson City Fire Department was called Monday afternoon to the 300 block of B Street for a report of a structure fire inside a single-wide mobile home.
The call came into dispatch at around 1:15 p.m. The resident inside the home reports seeing smoke coming from the bathroom. The resident said she poured water on it and then evacuated the residence, according to dispatch.
Arriving firefighters on scene said smoke was not seen upon their arrival. Carson City firefighters are investigating. Two engines that were called were released from the scene.
