Lawmakers want to ditch off-road vehicle registration
Many Nevada dirt bike and all-terrain vehicle riders could leave registration forms and fees in the dust if a group of legislative Republicans get their way.
Assembly Bill 217 would gut recently adopted requirements that off-roaders in the Silver State register their rides of choice and pay a $20 fee that's used to fund everything from trail development to conservation to law enforcement in the backcountry.
