National speakers to lead 'Marriage Tune Up' conference at Minden's LifePoint Church
MINDEN — Jeff and Debby McElroy, marriage humorists, speakers, and founders of Forever Families, have been invited to LifePoint Church to lead their Marriage Tune Up Conference.
As one of the most sought-after couples in the field of marriage enrichment, the McElroys travel nationwide and around the globe speaking on marriage and family issues.
The tag line for the Marriage Tune Up Conference is “Who says working on your marriage has to feel like work?”
“We think marriage events have to be more about an engaging experience first. While marriage is a serious subject, too often, people make an entire event serious with too much lecturing or preaching at people," said Jeff McElroy. "We’ve found that laughter helps people drop their guard, music connects to their emotions, and drama and comedy sketches help them see themselves in a non-threatening way. Then, great, inspirational teaching can be received and remembered.”
The response to their Marriage Tune Up Conference has been overwhelmingly positive. After having Jeff and Debby at her church, Pantano Christian, Robin Blumenthal said, “With Jeff and Debby, what you see online or in a video is only a fraction of what you get. Their love for God, closely followed by their passion for marriages and each other, was inspiring to all! They are the real deal. Our audience laughed, cried, applauded, and left more in love and more committed to their marriages!”
The event will be held on March 15-16, 2019 at LifePoint Church, 1095 Stephanie Way, Minden, Nev. Couples can register or get more information by going to https://lifepointnv.com/marriage/ or by calling (775) 267-0151.
