Capital City Women's Club at Empire Ranch has two new Championship winners! Congratulations to Vicki Barbaria who won Low Gross Over the Field and Loretta Szymanski who won Low Net Over the Field. Vicki shot a 173 (Gross) and Loretta shot a 135 (Net) over the two day tournament. Great job ladies and to all the ladies who participated!! Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies responded Saturday evening to a vehicle crash near the intersection of Stewart and William streets. No serious injuries were reported.

A fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a semi truck happened Wednesday night in the area North Carson Street and Nye Lane, Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong confirmed. The motorcycle rider died in the crash.
